So im finished college for the summer and I am thinking of getting a job in PC repair for the summer but im wondering how hard is it to get a job in it?

I am studying Computer Science in College and have fixed loads of computers for friends and family but do I need to have a qualification in pc repair to have a realistic chance of getting a job in it?

Umm do you really need to work for somebody? Why not work for yourself, putting ads in local shops, newspapers, magazines etc.

That way you'd make a little more cash I reckon.

If you'd like, I'd make you some flyers to hand out, Computer Art is quite a hobby of mine, that's if you'd like.

Look up the CompTIA A+. It shows you have a knowledge of the insides of the PC. Also, the fixing of "computers for friends and family" may go to your favour. As for doing it yourself: not worth the hassle if only for the short term, as people who've helped in the past will keep coming back to you. Esp the f**kers who know f**k all about computers.
