Reception alternatives ?

    Hi everyone

    Can anyone suggest any funky ideas for the reception instead of say like a chocolate fountain ?
    I would really love something quirky ? Getting married end of September so dont really no what the weather will be like so its hard to decide .....
    Any suggestions greatly welcomed !

    Someone said before in another thread they had a characturist! Do a google for it maybe? Sorry doing several things at once, but just saw your post! HTH :cool:

    Caricaturist - someone who draws caricatures/cartoons of your guests :)

    Someone else said they went to a wedding where the bride and groom hired an ice cream van and everyone got 99's.

    +1 Love it! wish I got an invite! Some other ideas are clowns, magician, baloonist, or even someone who takes pics then makes them into keyrings. I went to my nephew's wedding last year and they did this. They take your pic, then print it out with the bride & groom's name, date and location. Then put it onto a keyring. A nice momento and was very reasonable.

    Thats interesting i like the keyring idea and the magician and the cartoon drawings of guests !!! That could be cool ! Thanks a mill and if anyone thinks of anymore id welcome the suggestions !
