Portable, plane friendly wedding present ideas please!

    There's a collection for a guy in work going around at the moment for a wedding present for him. Thing is he works one week here and three weeks in his home country. We'll have approx 200 euro to get him something to give him on Friday before he leaves for the wedding, but as no-one from here is going we have to give it to him to carry back himself! He travels light so no checking bags in!! Any ideas please??

    Might just appreciate the cash then. If you had it made out to him in a cheque in his own currency and put it in a card it might be nice.

    Thought of that, but they use Euros there too! At least converting it to another currency would have shown some effort on our part...

    If you have the money tuned into a draft it shows a little more effort. Thats what my parents did for us and we definetly appreciated it....needed the money after the wedding.
