Posted on this a while ago, looks cool.
About the PS3 one: while only needing a camera is cool, I think the first one is more responsive and the glasses, that the article disdains, allow for a better vr effect with better depth perception.

holy crap! nintendo really need to hire this guy before someone else does. this could change video games forever, a bigger invention motion sensing itself.
