speech host wat order to put it

    hi i was wondering wats the correct way to host a wedding reception correctly
    ie what order to introduce speeches etc

    any pointers?? tks

    According to some literature I have on the matter the order of the speeches is traditionally:

    Father of the Bride
    The Groom
    The Best Man

    The best man first introduces the priest to say grace before meals, then for the speeches he introduces the father of the bride first, then the father of the groom if he wants...then if the grooms men want to read out any cards or faxes sent to the hotel from people who couldnt make it. then the groom and then the best man..oh and grace after meals of course.

    The bride may want to speak after the groom as well.
