hi there all , i am wondering if there is a similiar opensource equivilant to dreamweaver , as the cost of dreamweaver for a home user just isnt worth the outlay .

I'm maintaining a website using GIMP for image editing and Kompozer for html. I was used to Photoshop and Dreamweaver and have found both these programs easy to get used to.

NVU and the Gimp are the only tools i use, another addition to these is a program called inkscape to help with the vector graphics.
