Suicide on Dart Line.

There was a very sad event today on the train I was on just before Booterstown....a man(I think) was killed in what I am sure was a suicide. I feel very sad for the driver, his voice was trembling.

Oh no, that's so sad The poor guy and his family. Bless them.

The poor driver, it must all feel like a nightmare to him now. Poor thing.

I had to study self harming and suicide as part of my psychology course last year and it turns that the media are not allowed to directly mention suicides. This is why I was surprised to see tabloid headlines saying 'murder-suicide' last week. I'm not 100% sure what they can and can't publish but I know that after Nirvana frontman, Kurt Cobain killed himself, there were countless copycat suicides worldwide. The media was ridiculed and there have been strict guidelines set down in order to prevent the same thing happening again.

Very sad events today.
