So I was consdering selling my Wii, to sort out some cashflow problems. Gamestop are offering €175 for just the console, no controllers or games.

Am I likely to shift the console for a better price elsewhere? Coz 175 seems pretty good.

lol - I doubt you'd get a good response posting in the nintendo forum. (even though I am about to add to this ! :D)

I too am considering selling my Wii - Gamestop is 175? considering mine cost 270 originally I think not! Can always sell it privately... Anyway the reason I'm considering selling is that I only play it an hour or two a week so it just doesnt justify the amount of cash that's tied up in it (I have a lot of games with it too that I've to sell)

I am going to try and ring around and see what the trade in is like for this although I'd say if it's 175 - it'll be pretty much like that everywhere. Always adverts.ie I suppose if I dont get a good deal :)

In the meantime, before the shops open, did anybody else trade in a Wii recently? What shop did you trade it in at and how much did you get?

Well, I did sell mine for 175, I think. It was maybe on the low side, but needs must. I know I can buy a new one from Play.com for not a lot more money... plus, they get cheaper the longer I wait. So I'll probably see about buying one back in the summertime.

You'll likely get a good deal if you shift it as a bundle on adverts.ie. Popular games are going there for 30-35, less popular for 25. All reasonable.

    Lads get over to Adverts.ie

Depending on how old it is and where you are and with what you could beat €175 I reckon.

incidently if yis are flogging games or controllers or the like I might be interested.
