Are there some config files I can nuke? I should probably clarify, I dont have any databeased setup yet, so nuking is not a problem. 0 -
What are you installing it on?
I had a similar problem about two weeks ago and solved it. I am running ubuntu but it should be the same for anything debian based. Can't remember how i did it though
I either did one of two things.
1) sudo apt-get purge mysql-client mysql-server mysql-admin
or
2) tasksel lamp <- should install the AMP for you all configured and ready to go.
I remember one of them worked. Don't remember which..... sorry0 -
