I was just wondering what i need to do so i dont get emergency tax, i was told that my p45 from the last job is no good as this is a new tax year,

    All help is greatly appreciated.

You need a tax certificate. The revenue will send you one if you phone them.
Your employer will give you two months to produce a tax certificate before all your pay is taxed at 41%.
