    Hi,

My boyfriend and I are hoping to get married September 2009. I've seen lots of nice places but the problem is they usually have a minimum number over how many we want to invite. Does anyone know anywhere nice where they can cater for approx 70-80 for the meal? Preferably within an hours drive of Dublin. The only nice places I've found are The Clarence and Beaufield Mews, both of which have drawbacks.

    Thanks! ;)

A few venues do cater for smaller numbers in a smaller function room, but it's not always clear on their site. Killashee house in Naas can do both, and both function rooms are at the opposite ends of the hotel so you wouldn't really notice if there were two on the same day.

My sister had the same problem and has booked Finnstown House for this July and they had no problem with smaller numbers. It's near Lucan.
