I've gotten into Against me! but some of my friends who organized a gig for them years ago when they were a DIY band, say they've sold out so they hate them now, what do you think? I think their new album kicks ass!

They were great when they played the City Arts City, and I'm sure they'd still be great playing TBMC.... who cares what your friends say, if you like them, listen to them

I really like them, and I love the new album. Thrash Unreal is my favourite song at the moment and the album has been getting a lot of play lately.

New Wave is their first album that I have and I like it, I'll be giving their older stuff a listen. Most played tracks at the minute would be Thrash Unreal, White People for Peace and Animal. Really like the chorus on Animal. I don't see why anyone would think they're ****e, they're not phenomenal but I'd call them solid. Of course I haven't seen them live.

You've heard one album and never heard them live, but you can't see why anyone would call them ****e? They're they generic ballix that MTV grabs for their "alternative" hours and whatever other ****.

    **** that.

When they signed to a Major Label was a bit of a head melter alright. Especially considering their "anarchist" roots.
