Quick Mario Kart Question

Hi I beat all the 50cc tracks and at the end it said "you can now race bikes on the 50cc cups" but when I go to race them theres no option to race bikes and I can only choose karts. Anyone know how I can choose bikes? Cheers

Press + on the Wiimote when selecting a race class.

Ya I seen that written at IGN but it does nothing for me - are you meant to do it when selecting whether to race in the 50cc, 100cc or 150cc category.

Just to make sure it is to race in a Grand Prix yeah.
