question re summer repeats & results HELP

    hey
    is it true that if you fail any summer exams and cant compensate etc..that you cant repeat them in the summer (in your final year)?
    also is a pass/3rd a fail? and what can you possbly do with it career wise? dole?! im scared !!!

    Almost everything you asked depends on the college you're in. It's best to ask for advice from your Students' Union/tutor/mentor/Student Services Department.

    Career wise for a pass degree - what do you think you can't do? There are lots of people who are doing perfectly fine without any degrees.

    its just most postgraduate courses require at least a 2.1, and very few require a 2.2, never mind a 3rd/pass. Evens banks require a 2.2 at least

    Totally depends on your uni. Some expect you to carry a fail in final year, others don't. It'll be in your student handbook somewhere.
