Has anyone set up django on shared linux hosting. I am trying to use django.cgi - I am following all the examples but its not going too well

From what I've heard it *can* work, but I've heard it's not ideal.

Yes i have followed his and other similar examples to a T and still not working. I have gone over and over this - Maybe its just not meant to be.
