    Hi all,

I am a masters student and my group and I are doing a presentation on work life balance and I would love to get someone from Google's HR dept to give a short presentation. I know they are located in Barrow Street, I rang 11850 to get contact number and they gave me 016588892 but there is no answer at all. Can anyone please give me a contact name and number? I have searched Google but no luck :(

    Thanks for all your help,

    Dublinmadyoke :)

Thanks for your reply but I already came across that.. and as you can see its a fax number. I am looking for a contact name or number other than what 11850 gave me...

Contact their corporate head office in the US. They'll probably give the name/number of someone in Ireland.

why don't you just walk down to their offices (if you live in Dublin) and ask to speak to someone.

I doubt there is a walk in office for google in town, is there?

    hey op,

the phone number for Google in Dublin is 1 digit back from the fax number, so 01-4361000. they dont publish it but i needed to get in touch with them a while back for something work related and i got through on that number.

when i was calling them before, i just pressed option 1 to enter the ext and when it told me to enter the ext i just put in any 3 or 4 digit number. after a few seconds its starts ringing and goes through to reception. i just tried it there a few times and instead of being answered it just goes through to the reception voicemail which isnt much use as i dont see them returning a call.

tbh google arent excatly the kind of company who would be helpful with this kind of thing. any company who dont puiblish their phone number anywhere are kind of giving off the "dont call us, well call you atitude". if i was you i would call microsoft as they would be a lot more receptive to an idea like that, and a lot more accomodating. try someone from their PR department or something l ike that.

    hi Dublinmadyoke,

Maybe try the careers department of your university? As most universities normally have tech talks from Google every year about their company so I'd say they should have contact details

You wouldn't believe the amount of people who try to social engineer information out of googlers by just calling up and asking to speak to someone in HR/I.T/PR. Same in any high profile company. That's why phone numbers are unlisted.

OP - I don't understand why you need someone from a HR department to talk to your group about work/life balance? Isn't there enough info on google culture on the web?
