any interesting ham radio frequencies that i can listen to on my scanner?
tried scanning the bands but didnt pick up on anything..

50.050 Hill of allen Beacon.

28 to 29.7MHz (Mostly SSB, some FM & CW)
50 to 52MHz (CW, SSB, FM)
70MHz ish (some AM!, FM, very little SSB, some FM packet/APRS)
144 .. 146Mhz (144 .. 145 FM packet/APRS, SSB, WSJT, CW, beacons etc, 145 to 146: Repeaters, FM, ISS contacts)
430Mhz to 440MHz (Mostly FM, some SSB)
1.2 to 1.3GHz (SSB, FM TV)

Certain times better than others.

You need time, patience and outdoor aerial(s).
