Hii dont know how basic a question this is but what i want to do is create several websites and when somebody registers on one website they can use that username and password to register on all of the other websites as well.Does anyone know if this is possible?how difficult and expensive is it to do?and does anybody know of somebody who can do this as i am not sure how this works?
    Thanks

Use the same user database for each site.

Also could be configured using an LDAP server if you have one...

You can also consider looking into another form of SSO idnetity provision, like OpenID or YADIS.

Could you also have a webservice on one of the sites that authenticates a user?
