Does anyone know where I could pick one up in a shop? One can be done for €20 from Play, but I'd rather getting locally...

Where's local and what type of battery are you talking about? If you mean batteries for wireless guitars then just get regular rechargable batteries.

What the above poster said. I'm running on 2 rechargable AA's in my GH III Les Paul Wireless and it works well. Charge 4 of em so you have a second spare set in case one conks out on you. Then all is right with the world again.
