I like beer. Heck, we all do ... but for me, it goes further than that. I like lots of different beers, and I like to stay informed about new beers to the market.

So, when I became aware of a beer featuring a trout on the bottle ... I thought, "That's interesting".
Then I became aware the beer is called 'Bayern Dancing Trout' and I though "Wow ... let's have a fuppin' look at this".

Imagine my horror when I looked closely at the bottle ... *looks closely again* ... what is that man doing to the poor fish

It's not right, I tells ya, it's just not right

The love a man has for his trout can be a beautiful thing sometimes

P'raps ... but the man in the picture above seems to be wearing leather chaps, such as one might see in the Blue Oyster* which seem to have ... eh ... dual purpose.

*as portrayed in the Police Academy series of movies, obviously.

I'd be more concerned by the protuberance on the fish. Is that a fin in your pocket or are you just glad to see me?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,727 ✭✭✭✭Sherifu

You can clearly see he's got a rod. Poor trout.

Clearly the fish, a fine specimen of Oncorhynchus clarki henshawi or Lahontan cutthroat trout, is fighting for his very life. How can a fish love a fisherman ? No matter how hot that fisherman might be
    Is...that...trout...smiling??

Nope ... that right there is a grimace of pain and anguish and bitter determination to rage, rage hard, against the dying of the light.

That trout looks like its submitting to the fisherman. Fish are gay anyway:p.

I've been to enough Early Christian Art lectures (I've been to about 2) to know that man walking on water = Jebus.

Perhaps it's a beautiful mermaid who was unfortunately born with the head and torso of a fish.

It's just somebody taking their "Sleeps with the fishes" relationship to the next level with a public display of affection. Who are we to judge..............
