Hi all, I'm in a bit of a pickle, my wife is giving up her maiden name since we've married and is applying for a new passport.... we are going on holiday (hopefully) in a couple of weeks... and the passport office has just been in touch re. her application saying that they need a copy of the civil marriage cert, we sent in…

Hi all, I'm in a bit of a pickle, my wife is giving up her maiden name since we've married and is applying for a new passport.... we are going on holiday (hopefully) in a couple of weeks... and the passport office has just been in touch re. her application saying that they need a copy of the civil marriage cert, we sent in the only cert we had which they have told us is the church marriage cert.
Can anyone tell me where or how you get a civil one? I cant find any information online about it?
