ive an old voodoo 2 card at home! might see if i can get it to run on my intel p2 when i get home.

06 won't run on that though, the card has to support sm2, the Voodoo predates that somewhat....

What I'd love to see, is 3dmark actually running on a machine that musters up 39 points. How long did it take to complete?

40 minutes

The core was underclocked from 250mhz to 50, memory from 300mhz to 100mhz, Forced Vsync and 4AA

I think I can get below 10 if I can clock the card a bit lower, but if it goes much lower it will choke I think

I can prob run it on a northword 2.4 Celeron and an fx5200 in a week or so...

Conzy what if you reduce it to about 40/90, run with v-sync and aa, but at a really high resolution? And if you have an older processor..

I wanna try and get one 3dMark, It will be great!

But I have it attached to a 1440*900 screen so it cant run the default 1280*1024 res

It runs it 1280*720 or something like that...

Ok, I will force the AGP bus to 1X force 16AA and Vsync and zip a huge file in the background

I got the core clock as low as 13mhz

But the display driver died when I ran 3dmark, I got 0fps average in the AtiTool 3d render though!

14 is the worst I can do I think

If anybody has a friend in intel please ask him to quote a price for QX9770 C1 chip. Doesnt matter if it is ES.

When I was @ i31 Intel ran a benchmarking contest.

They had a laptop that they were using to keep track of all the scores, they ran 3dmark06 on it for the laugh and it got a score of 1!!
