    Since my other thread was locked.
    I would like to discuss james randi magic experience and how it helps him debunk paranormal claims.
    i personally think his training gives him a better perspective on paranormal claims than a purely scientific skeptic. He know how people can be tricked and decived and know exactly what to look for. take for example when he debunked James Hydrick: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QlfMsZwr8rc He was able to pick up on the trick and replicate very quickly. (Ain't a biologist alive that can do that. )

    Discuss. Does magic experience help in debunking?
