Bridesmaid dress shopping - Dublin

My sister and I will be going to Dublin next week to find her a bm dress.

I'll try the usual spots - Debenhams, Coast, etc - but was wondering if anybody would recommend anywhere else we could try? I don't really want to spend a fortune on the dress - 150 to 200 max.

Also - anywhere for decent shoes and accessories for both of us?

    Thanks in advance!

I don't know if this helps but what I did with mine was get the girls to try on actual bridesmaid dresses and pick ones they liked. They sell for anything from 200 - 500. However, once they'd picked the style I bought them online from gownsales.com and paid only a fraction. The dresses the girls liked were €325 each and I ended up getting all 3 for €370 including customs charges. That was a year ago and the rate is even better now.

Did the same thing with bridalshop.com with my wedding dress and paid less than half for the same thing.

They are actual bridal shops in the states that have websites they sell through which allows them to be official distributors and still sell online, which usually isn't allowed.

Not exactly answering your question I know. :p
