    So ... the P in PHP ... stands for PHP.

    I've always thought it stood for Personal Home Page ... and so did several of the programmer types around me. One beardy-sandal wearing fellow grunted self referencing recursive algorithms ... but I sprayed deodorant at him and he went away. :cool:

    It originally stood for that, but since PHP3.0 was released (1998) it's been PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor

    Yup. It's a place called Reunion in France, which is off the east coast of Africa. It is a full part of France (it is a department of France, has same status as rest of France, they use the Euro and all)
