GH1 and 2 with PS3 wireless guitar?

Hey,

I got GH3 for the 60GB PS3 and I am now looking for my next GH fix. Will the PS2 GH1 and GH2 work on the PS3 with the wireless guitar?

Well you could buy GH2 game second hand and try it out...the pound is still stronger than the euro

I looked into this just after christmas, and the answer is no. Technically one of them (GH1 or 2) will work, with some 3rd party device can't remember which, but hammering on and pulling off (arf!) don't work, so harder levels would be unplayable. So, in reality, it isn't really possible to play GH1 or 2 on the PS3.
