    Hi,

My girlfriend is writing a piece on piracy for her college magazine and asked me if I would put up a quick survey for her on boards.

If you could answer the following truthfully:

    1. Do you download music/films illegally on campus?
    2. What is the college policy on illegal downloads?
    3. Do you know of anyone that has been caught downloading music/films on campus. If so, how were they punished?
    4. What are your reasons for downloading music/films?

    Thanks.

    1. Anyone that even thinks about answering this is a public forum need to be banned from having any internet access.
    2. Obvious from the question - they are illegal therefore any issues transcend simple college policies
    3. See Answer 1. esp. as it's 3rd party info on another 3rd party
    4. Any Answer here does not negate the fact it's illegal.

I'm sorry, but Boards.ie has a very strict policy on discussing illegal activities, such as piracy, irrespective of where they occur.

And I am certainly not going to allow comments that cast IT Tallaght in a negative light.
