Dreamweaver CS3 _notes

Dreamweaver is creating an "_notes" folder when I upload an image and it is interferring with my PHP code on my site. I have tried to disable this option by deselecting "maintain design notes" in the site managment page but this does not seem to have worked. Does anyone know how to stop dreamweaver creating this "_notes"…

I am not familiar with Dreamweaver so this is a stab in the dark but is this a different method to what you were trying?

thanks for your help....

I have fixed this problem u need to turn off synchronization as well as design notes in the site definition.
