Thinking of tieing the knot if the US (US Vigin islands to be exact), anyone have any advice on how do do this?! What is the legal side of things and what information would we need to supply?

    Thanks!

We is getting hitched in Hawaii. The rules are different in every state and commonwealth though so google it and find out what the requirements are where you want to tie the knot. Usually just need ID to get the license, your passport will do for that. The two of you need to apply in person for the license at the local office. Remeber these places usually keep office hours.

One thing to remember. If you get married in the US on, say, the 25th of May your license and certificate will list the date as 05-25-08. That's why we're getting maried on a date like the first of January or second of February or third of March et cetra.
