DX9 crack for Crysis

Hi all, I got this crack for Crysis from another site http://www.crysis-online.com/forum/index.php?topic=11837.0 it upgrades DX9 graphics on XP. My question is this, all the files are ".cfg" but when I try to open them I get asked which program do I want to open them with, has anybody any advise please? Rgds, P

Open with notepad.

I couldn't be ersed reading through those forum posts on your link, but if you're talking about enabling very high video settings on DX9, that's not really a crack. It's just modifying some settings that aren't available in-game.
