    Hi,

I'm setting up a computer as a file server. Going to use Ubuntu.

Also thinking about attaching a printer to it for network home usuage. Are there brand / software restrictions i should know about? Anyone reccomend a reasonably priced laser duplex printer (don't need colour...)

There's also the detailed OpenPrinting database, which is very good. In general, most Laser printers are supported, and if the printer has built-in PostScript support, you'll have no trouble at all.

Just curious — are you sharing it out to Windows, Linux or Mac clients?

Mac and Windows (XP and Vista). To be honest I'm just at the starting to figure it out stages but thanks for the help.

Tips for a good priced quality printer would be apriciated though!
