Server disconnected - everytime..

    OK - I've just tried the multiplayer this morning for the first time (still have to finish SP too!)

    I ran pbsetup and it updated everything. Also, I have the 1.4 patch installed.

    But everytime I connect to a server, it loads up, but straight away craps out with 'Notice: Server disconnected'. At the bottom right of that screen is ' 1.4.545' or something similar

    I have the MP allowed in Win firewall.

    This happens with every server I try. Either connecting from console, or selecting from ingame browser. I'm at a loss.

    Appreciate any advice.
    Edit: Ok - I've also ran the pb service thing - and that seems to be working ok.

    From what I've googled so far, this has happened to loads of folks, but I can't find the solution! Help!!!

    This happened quiet a bit to me, it just went away after a while, keep typing retry into console and you'll get in after 2/3 tries.

    Have you refreshed the server browser list??

    Try opening the console (shift and tilde ) and typing this in

    /connect 217.163.28.165:28960

    That is my clans server and I know for a fact that it is up and running all the time.

    Hi Chris - yea I tried that and got the same problem.

    I managed to get on one server (which was empty!) and that was it.

    I've even done the port forwarding on the router, and everything is updated from what I can see.

    The only thing I could suggest to you now is the reinstall the game , hopefully that will help.
