How did they mange to come up with .1 of an inch? :D

Surely the inch was divided in the old imperial way.

    1/2, 1/4, 1/8 etc.

    Therefore, 1/8" = 0.125". :D

Dunno, maybe an exact conversion from his metric height? This from Wikipedia:
Wadlow reached an unprecedented 8 feet 11.09 inches (2.72 m)

    Edwin

If there are 10 birds in a field, and you shoot one dead, how many birds in the field remain alive?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 21,190 ✭✭✭✭Latchy

None cuz the sound of the gunshot (not to mention the sight of their dead pal ) will freak the other birds into all having heart atttacks and dying ? :D

Correct! (If by having heart attacks you mean they fly away! ;))

    Edit

surely though if you had had a silencer on the gun and shot the bird they wouldn't of heard the shot so might not have flown off

But would someone with a beer gut and receding hair be smart enough to use a silencer? I think not...

I'm sorry, but the insinuation that the Brothers are somewhat lacking in the grey matter department is truly offensive. Had you asked whether someone with a beer gut and receding hair could be arsed going off to buy a silencer, remember to pack it with the gun and then actually bother fitting it before firing, well then you may have had a point.

Speaking of receding hair, a new question arises:

Why is it that men who have been castrated rarely go bald?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 16,786 ✭✭✭✭Hagar

They can no longer produce testosterone which is the major cause of male pattern baldness.
