    Bit of a beginner to the whole linux world.

    Using Ubuntu 7.10

    I need to find where the <php root>/php/include/php/ext/ folder is.

    I need to install rrd tool to this folder.

    I know how to install rrd tool but I'm just having trouble locating where the php/include/... folder is

    I've installed php5 with the apt-get

    Any help would be much appericated

    <?php
    phpinfo();
    ?>

    save the above to a file and execute it.
    ie php file.php
    should list your environment.

    I love locate. Do this:

    sudo updatedb
    then
    locate <filename>

    e.g. locate ext | grep php/include

    Cheers for the help.

    Found out the folder wasn't there because I install PHP with apt-get.

    When I compiled the source the folder was there
