the Departed- is a remake of internal affairs

Hard Boiled is so good, they made a videogame sequel to it recently called stranglehold i believe

I know I should know better being a film person, but meh

watched death proof the other day though
    kicked ass!
A few boring girly chats in it, but the gore and the cars made up for it :)

I'll go see it with you, I'm just looking for an excuse to gawp at it again. Going in on your own seems a bit, well, wierd.

It was an reasonably good flick. I seen it last week when I was in the UK with my sis. There was a few good jokes in it, and the Stephen Fry bit was quite good.

It's not a 'cinema film' really though, it'll be just as good watching a dvd of it in a month or so.

Can anyone give me any tips for getting the barrell out of a G36? It doesn't seem to come out as easy as an armalite one...

    Brute force an ignorance............................no?

How about a Buzzsaw go on you know you need an excuse to say GROOVY!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,984 ✭✭✭NakedDex

Being that I'm always groovy, I never need an excuse to say it, I'll just spout it out.

The G36 barrel has a connection in it somewhere just in front of the hop that you need to disengage from the body of the aeg itself. It's tricky and you'll need to split the entire thing in two. I think you have to remove or move the hop unit too. There's a sprung section in there that houses the barrel connector. That's the bit you want to release.

    Remember, shop smart. Shop S-Mart.

I've done it before, it's a pain in the ass of epic proportions. Word to the wise. When you open it, or rather if you do, make sure to note the locations of the springs in relation to the various flanges. They only go back in one way that works but will fit in a bunch of wrong ways.

Heath Ledger is dead. Found a couple of hours ago in his apartment, died of a sleeping pill overdose it seems. They're not sure if it was accidental or intentional.

Wouldn't be the first time. Anyone remember that warehouse fire in London a few months back that they started reporting as a bomb? The story VERY quickly was whittled down to nothing more than a blaze in an abandoned warehouse that happened to have a lot of oil and tyres in it left over.

Reminds me of when i first heard of the 9/11 tragedy, i got into my uncles jeep after finishing school and he goes to me "The bloody Iraqis are firing missiles at America!"

    A bit off the mark...
