Site for royalty free pictures

Hey lads

I'm doing a distance learning IT degree and I've to make a basic website using just HTML. (1st attempt at web design)
Anyway does anyone know where I can find some royalty free pictures that are free to use.
I've found a few sites, well loads actually, but they all charge you for the pictures and have watermarks across their examples.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

BTW the site is for an electrician if that helps.

SXC has the biggest selection though it's great I use it all the time even have a few pics up on it!
