Webserver on a local lan

    Hi,

    i need to set up a webserver with locally resolveing dns for a local lan so about 15 students can ftp into their own account on the webserver via frontpage and access the page by http://yourusername.lan
    Is their an 'all in one' solution for such a thing?

    Recommentations appreciated

    Windows or Linux?

    There are plenty of solutions for both platforms, but you'd need to specify

    prefer to do it on linux, i do have a debian box set up with webmin

    All you'd need is apache, php, ftpd and bind...
