Possible to get Royalty Free PDF, MP3, ZIP Icons

I have some links on a site to download MP3, PDF & ZIP files. Instead of using pure text links, are there any royalty free icons that I could use? I'm assuming I can't just go ahead and use the first ones I find online. Any good downloads for web icons out there (prefferably for free). Cheers

I have used DeviantArt in the past for application icons. It was pretty straightforward to contact the artist involved to sort out agreements over the icons. This is a link to the Windows-icons category but there are others available for Mac OS and various flavours of *nix.
