I have eircom broadband with a 20GB limit. We just got a second computer and set up file sharing on it, since there both connected to the same netopia router. Does anyone know if this uses up your bandwidth?

If you're asking whether it counts as part of your cap/download limit: No. It doesn't.

For what its worth I have been well over my 20 gb allowance with Eircom for the last 4 months and it hasn't cost me anything extra :)

i heard of that, but its not true for all. I have only once gone over the limit and it was only by 100mb but i still got charged a few euro extra.
