graphics card. will it work in any pci 16 slot?

    1 last question ;)

    can i use any pci x 16 slot on my mobo for my gcard?

    i have 680i and there are 3. do i have to use slot number 1?

    im installing a cooler on the southbridge, and it wont fit with the card im using.

    if not, is there any way round it? slot fillers or something that will force the gpu to be used by the third slot or something along those lines.

    Will defo work in the second slot as that mobo is 16x + 16x, not sure bout he 3rd one. Check reviews for more info

    no first 2 are 16x and then the 3rd i think is 4x.

    so i can use either 16x slot for the card.

    and yeah the other slot is 8x my bad. lol.

    No you can only use the first sloti think.i read that the second slot is only for use in sli mode but i have not tried it myself, so im not 100% sure but i would think the review is correct.
