Must take a look at BBNet
Vodafone is doubtful thought I would say - as I barely have Vodafone phone reception

    Pity Eircom are so lazy!

http://www.fwi.ie/ might be out there too depending where you are.
I don't think they're (eircom) lazy , just have one strange battleplan.

You might be able to pick up Digiweb or Irish Broadband (If you have LOS to Tountinna). I have IBB in Killaloe

Some parts of Clonlara can get Digiweb Metro. But it's not from Tountenna.

"Wireless Broadband is available in all of Clonlara."

    Which supplier?

I tried Digiweb in Churchfields - No joy - not enough signal.
Tried 3g - poor enough too - is there another wireless provider??
Eircom are supposed be enabling the exchange to have DSL available by the end of the year

Eircom have been working on the exchange recently. I spoke to broadband sales this week and they thought that the exchange should have been upgraded by the end of Nov. I was put through to the technical department to do a live test but I was told that it failed (not sure that they actually did the test). Hopefully we should have DSL any day now (been saying that for months).

Yeah was due to be complete by the end of Nov.
They have equipment installed at the exchange - but they ran into a couple of "problems" - They say now that they are due to finish by the end of this month.

Good stuff!!! My line (or my neighbour's line) is now active too!!

Now what DSL provider is best??? Am I best off just going for Eircom?
