OpenOffice doesn't do spellcheck anymore...

    Hi lads,

    I love using openoffice but recently the spell-check function on it has gone haywire. It simply does not check my documents anymore and when I run a manual scan it tells me all is ok when it isn't!

    I've gone into tools-options-language settings...and all of that but yet it still won't do it.

    Any help?

    have you selected UK english dictionery / marked text as UK english ?
    Irish english isn't linked to a dictionary automatically

    You have to fiddle with the settings a bit. Here are my settings, which work for me anyway.
