Nintendo DSLite Stepdown converter

Folks, A colleague of mine bought a white Nintendo DSLite in the states last week. The only problem is that when I go to charge it with a travel adapter (100-240) it do't charge. Do i need a stepdown converter (220-110?) for it to work?

Nope, just buy an IE/UK charger for the DS Lite in Game/Gamestop/Smyths/Any other game shop.

I think they're around a tenner (if not less)
