Is this board still active, if so where is there any tuition available for complete beginners, besides dublin city centre, is there any in suburbia....North/South? Maximus

Mximus, you should really have a go at some self study CD's first. I really recommend it. It's just so you don't start the lessons without a clue how the language works.

I recommend Michel Thomas' course. It's very expensive, but I got it for free.

I got a Linguaphone course free with a Sunday Newspaper. Really helped me before I left for South America.
