    Hi I was just wondering, for family reasons my best friend cant go to college to train as a primary school teacher. I know that this country is quiet tough on the teacher training but is there any distance learning courses that are approved for study while she can't travel. All help appriciated :D

    Theres an (part) online Hibernia course. Dont know much about it only that
    a work mates wife done it and is now working as a primary teacher.

    It's only for graduates who already have a degree though, and they must still fulfill normal requirements for anyone doing primary teaching the normal way, an honour in Irish, and a pass in English and Maths at Leaving Cert level. There is no other course that I know of that allows you to do primary teaching part time/distance learning
