hi All,

Just got cod4 for me B'day

Have a new Dell 710 XPS with that sigmatel? Audio.

All was well into the training then the first level. I had just started the first level when I noticed I was seeing the "chat" text (Single player) on the bottom of the screen but was not able to hear the voice. All the other Audio seems grand. Shot sounds etc.

Anyone know of this issue and a soloution? Tried Googl'ing but to no avail...

It is kinda spoiling the game

Any help appreciated.

At a guess have you enabled 5.1 sound but with only 2 speakers, hence you wont hear the other channels.
