rented this at the weekend. game looks great but im about half way tru now and finding it fairly monotonous. glad i just rented and didnt buy it in the end.
have my ps3 updated but i had it freeze once as others have reported. camera was still able to be rotated after the freeze but nothing else worked.

Finished it over the weekend. Really liked it but can't see myself go back to it. Was going to ret for all the flags\templars but when i found you got SFa, was'nt really bothered, too much hassle.

i think the game has been overly hyped.... whie i play it a lot, i find it fairly boring tbh, is it just me or is the story next too impossible to follow?, i seriously dont know whats going on in the game!.

its basically a repetative game...cities look the same, 90% of the view points to ''synchronize'' have the same layout, citizens saved is a repeat everytime, missions thus far have been the exact same, just the last 2 fellas have run away and a chase ensues:rolleyes:

yes it's pretty, yes the control system and movement etc. are pretty savage and there are some very good elements to it, but it gets very monotonous very quickly, each section seems to be a repeat of the last with very little in the way of variety. there's quite a bit in it with no or very little point and the back to the future crap nearly made me turn the thing off and take it back.

the horse thing is kinda cool for about a minute, but in the end doesn't seem to serve any purpose. it's like they thoughtit up and then didn't know what to do with it but didn't want to leave it out either cos it looked pretty good.

still, for all it's faults it's a ecent enough game and it's a good showpiece for the PS3 (or 360) if nothing else.

i must agree about the horse. good idea, poorly used. they cudve broken up the same old assasination with a level of chasing a guy (in a carriage possibly) around that kingdom area. perfect opportunity to sneak in a jump from horse to carriage trick and then escape/fight bodyguards.
another cudve been an archery themed assasination, similar to heavenly sword
