And sure you might as well have the original track that SN superbly sampled for good measure as well:

    Laurie Anderson – O Superman

    LaurieAnderson-OSuperman.jpg

The infamous serial killer Denis Nilsen used to play this track after he’d kill someone. Creepy freaky stuff or wah???

Thanks for the UL Derra. Haven't listened to it yet but will do as soon as...

Used to have this years ago but for the life of me I can't remember the name of it.

Tis a screamer for sure but who can tell me the name??? 'Fred Underground' played it in the middle of his set at the last Reactive night. This is a snippet of his set with most of the track in it.

    Not sure - Not sure

That's the one Stephen. Nice one. Before the last Reactive night the last time I heard it was about 12 years ago. One of those tunes that was banished to the forgotten part of my brain. Nice hearing it again. Brings back some good mems. :D Gonna PM you later. Need to ask you something. Thanks for the tune...

Jesus, just stumbled accross this forum last night. All the memories just came flooding back. Wife and nipper now and it's all distant memory.

Sides, So, Temple, Colombia Mills, Ormond, Sir Henrys' in Cork, Roxy and Metropole in Waterford, pure magic.

Best night I can ever remember was Fabio Paras in the Temple, christ I have a chill up my spine just thinking about it.

Here's a request for you, looking a for a tune called "E" (ahem) . It was a b side of Blue by Latour (tune from basic instinct) and was mixed by Phil Perry and Bill nasty (legends).

    Later

How random.... iTunes here at work (in Sydney) has just random played a couple of classic tunes that I remember from many good nights in the Asylum and so I got all nostalgic and did a quick google and found this massive thread! I have so many fond memories of that crazy place....

I also did some artwork in there back in the day.....
Can any of you remember these little fellas......:D

There's also a snap of the DJ box too (with about a million UV handprints).

    More pics to follow.....

    Cheers
    Dave

The quality is a little crappy, back in the days before digital cameras!;)

Any of you guys remember a good buddy of mine Keith who used to work at the club, sitting on the back door pretty much every night it was open, he used to take this really trippy Freak book down with him most nights and was always happy to show the weird pictures in it to anyone who wanted a break from the dancing and mayhem!:D

Great club and a great bunch of nutters in it....:D

    Very happy memories.

    Cheers
    Dave

Nice one Stomp. Look forward to the really early 90's ones...

Thanks for the pics Squelch99. I remember those UV hands well. The other pics not so well with the exception of the trippy Mickey Mouse. I think the smoke in the place would have obscured them too much :D
