Sorry to say that JIMHO he does not seem to have the gravitas that Nimoy had.

I think he looks pretty damn similar. It'll all come down to his acting though.

for some reason i doubt he will be laughing as much in the film.
its gonna be impossible to know how he will seem until you see a bit of footage with the proper lighting etc

Not that Quinto is fat but he does seem a bit rounder in the face than Nimoy. He seems to lack the quintessential Vulcin cheeks/cheekbones.

Aside from that he looks alright. Going to be really, really, difficult to replace Nimoy.. but I guess the proof will be in the performance. Looks wise he's close enough.

I thought freakishly so when he had the cloak, eyebrows and serious face on. I wouldn't worry about gravitas, from what I've seen in Heroes he's a bit of a chameleon
