Selling your dress afterwards

Did you sell your dress after the wedding? (Or did your wife sell her dress?)
I'm thinking of selling mine, and have advertised it on weddingsonline.ie and on buyandsell.ie but not having received any responses, I'm just wondering if there is just no market for second-hand dresses in Ireland today, or am I advertising in the wrong places? Maybe my price is too high - I'm selling it for half the original price, but perhaps I should go lower. Any advice?

I am actually after a dress to do a session as part of my photography portfolio.

Can you PM your email/MSN details and maybe we can chat offline?

    Thanks

If you are planning on having kids, you should get the christening gown made out of your dress...

Thanks Femmy, but I don't want to turn it into a christening gown. Just want to know if you know of anywhere to sell it.

mikeanywhere - I'll PM you now.
